Business Development Assistant
Looking for a new opportunity?
AIMS has a Business Development Assistant role available for an experienced individual who can help us grow our Associations.
Working either from our Head Office in Glasgow or remotely, the new recruit will work with AIMS organisations, including PASMA, and the Ladder Association.

The role of Business Development Assistant
• Responsible for converting prospects into members via a solution sales approach
• Agreeing which targets to prioritise with the line manager and where and who to promote the benefits of the respective organisations’ services
• Following up on campaigns to convert leads into membership
• Desk-based research as required
• Working collaboratively with other colleagues across the organisation
• Qualifying prospects and championing benefits and value propositions
• Cross-selling where the opportunity arises
• Recording all activity within the CRM system
• Any other duties as reasonably requested by the line manager
Person Specification
• Highly organised self-starter, motivated, and confident in their approach
• Effective communicator both verbally and written
• Pro-active approach and uses own initiative
• Experience within a professional body or association is desirable but not essential
• Some experience in sales or business development would be advantageous
